Our primary goal is to give you healthy, straight teeth and the beautiful smile that you've always wanted. We understand that choosing to receive orthodontic care is a big decision, and we respect your reasons for wanting to improve the way you look and feel. Our practice will work with you every step of the way to make sure that your orthodontic care is as rewarding as possible. We take care that your treatment environment is enjoyable with music, wifi and television. And we utilize the latest technology to offer you a variety of safe and gentle treatments to give you the customized, individual care you deserve.

1. Every smile starts with an initial consultation. You meet our team and learn more about orthodontics. We review your dental and medical history and conduct a complete oral and facial examination. We answer your questions. And provide you with the information you need to determine which treatment is right for you.

2. The right plan for you.  The next step involves diagnostic radiographs (X-rays), digital intra-oral scans and photographs to aid in diagnosis and the formulating of a customized treatment plan.

3. An appointment is scheduled to discuss your treatment as well as the financial information and payment plans. We answer any further questions you may have. Contact our practice to schedule your initial consultation here

4. Scheduling appointments every 4 – 8 weeks. We work with you to make sure that your appointments are on days and times most convenient for you. And if  “life happens!"  -  you're running late or need to reschedule -  please let us know. We will do everything we can to accommodate you.

  5. Visiting the dentist during orthodontic treatment. It is most important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months - even during your orthodontic treatment - for teeth cleaning and routine dental check-ups. If extra dental care is needed, we will be happy to co-ordinate with your family dentist to make sure that you are receiving the best care possible.

6. Oral health is a priorityevery patient starting treatment receives oral hygiene instructions, an oral hygiene kit, and a booklet explaining all the aspects of treatment and a list of foods to avoid.

7. Notes:
no charge for retainer checks for one year following your treatment (excluding repair of breakages or replacement of lost appliances)

no charge for recall visits until you are ready to start treatment
(except radiographs that may be necessary)

no charge for the first emergency appointment due to breakages

we use low radiation digital X-rays; all necessary photographs, x-rays and intra-oral scans are done in our office.
