invisible aligner treatment
There are numerous companies that fabricate clear aligners. Invisalign is possibly the most well-known brand. Clearpath is also
widely used. This approach to straightening teeth uses a series of custom-made aligners created for each patient. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you simply wear over your teeth. Wearing aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place.

Note: Not all patients are candidates for this option. It is generally reserved for less complex problems and not all patients are candidates. Dr Wertheimer will consult with you to see if you are suited.

  invisible aligner treatmentWhat is it?
Nobody will be able to notice that youbre wearing an invisible, removable and comfortable aligner and therefore you will be able to smile more confidently during treatment as well as after. Aligners are made with 3D computer imaging technology.

What are the advantages?
Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are no problem. They are also comfortable, with no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment so you spend less time in your doctor's office getting adjustments.

How does it work?
You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to the final position your doctor has prescribed. You'll visit our practice about once every 4 - 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
